At our veterinary clinic, we offer top-quality boarding services for your beloved pets. Whether you’re headed out of town for a weekend getaway or an extended vacation, you can trust us to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for your furry family members.
Our experienced staff will ensure that your pets receive the attention, exercise, and care they need, and we’re equipped to accommodate both dogs and cats.

Pet Taxi
It’s important for your pet to stay happy, healthy, and well-groomed. Here at Animal Medical Salado, we aim to make that as convenient for you as possible!
Any food or medication order over $50 can now be delivered to your home directly, SAME DAY* free of charge. This includes preventatives and prescription food, as well as chronic medications. Home delivery makes it easier for you to properly give the medications and preventatives that your pets need.
We also offer home pick up and drop off Monday-Friday for all clinic and grooming/bathing procedures for a small fee.
This includes:

- Nail Trims
- Grooming Surgical appointments
Our Pet Taxi Program Includes:
- Pet pick up / Drop Off Medication and food delivery
- Boarding, Grooming

Making an Appointment is Easy
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make or confirm appointments for you and your pet. Our team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.

Boarding Pick Up Only (4pm – 5pm)
During the months of March through August, we will be open Saturdays from 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM.
Urgent Care & Emergencies
Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are critical care trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet needs. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and one technician working together to save a pet’s life. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately.
If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
Our Payment Policy
Animal Medical of Salado accepts local payments via Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, or CARE CREDIT.
We provide treatment plans (estimates) for all surgeries and hospitalizations.
If you have not received a treatment plan, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges.
